What to prepare before a print test.
A clear sample brief helps your equipment supplier answer the right questions.
Prepare representative samples
Provide the actual material, including its coating and any surface treatment. Include normal production variations where relevant.
Share the artwork and target finish
Send the required print dimensions, colors and artwork file. State whether white ink, texture or a particular surface finish is needed.
Define acceptance criteria
Agree how adhesion, appearance, drying and handling will be checked. Food packaging requires separate attention to inks and the intended contact conditions.
